A misc episode of "Super Circus", the hugely popular ABC-TV series which aired during the 1950's. Complete with original commercials for candy. Also of note: An acrobat act consisting of two asians, rather unexpected for 1950's television; Three clowns plugging Snicker's Candy Bar; The cast recieving an award from the "Disabled American Veterans" group due to the show's popularity with disabled veterans; A Musical segment; One of the main clowns being "killed"; and a gymnastics act.

Circus acts are quite good.
But I don't like Claude Kirchner or the clowns. The two acts featured in this second half hour of "Super Circus" from April 19, 1953 are Chai & Somay (acro-contortion) and the Hollywood Skyrockets (double swaypole).

Super Circus was good. You have to remember it was a kid show. I would say a high class kid show. An the acts were great. An it help our DAV. So give it a look.

I Uploaded This - Light-Hearted Fluff
This is a very fluffy programme, as was intended by those involved. Regardless, it is certainly a lot less annoying than say, "The Magic Clown" (also uploaded by me) or some of the inane "reality" shows on MTV lately (which, BTW, I haven't uploaded for obvious reasons such as copyright). So, it may be pure disposable sillyness, but it is still entertaining, and as a childrens variety show it shouldn't be expected to be brain-food to begin with.
